MOVE TO GUIDFORD 13th September 2004
Stackhouse Poland brings its unique approach to Guildford
Following a successful period of growth, specialist independent insurance brokers to private, corporate and charity clients, Stackhouse Poland, has opened a new office in Guildford.
The new offices opened on 13th September at New House on Bedford Road. Stackhouse Poland offers the kind of personal service that has enabled the company to develop into one of the most respected, trusted and competitive independent insurance brokers in the UK.
As a management owned company that genuinely believes in acting in the best interests of its clients and employees, Stackhouse Poland has a unique approach to its business. Its aim is to always exceed expectations by investing in the most talented insurance professionals and by developing intelligent and innovative working practices. Managing Director, Jeremy Cary, explains the company's move to premises in Guildford:
“The rapid growth of the Company since our Management Buy-in in 2001 meant that we had outgrown our previous premises in Liphook. Guildford is a thriving professional community and local businesses tend to be service-driven. This, coupled with the fact that there are a large number of high net worth individuals living in the area, meant that it was a perfect new location for Stackhouse Poland.
We believe that we can offer a truly improved level of insurance and service to that which is currently available to both private and corporate clients in the area and that our hands-on, bespoke approach will be appreciated. It will also allow us to continue to look after the many loyal clients in Hampshire and the rest of the UK with a better working environment and systems”A significant factor in the continuing success of Stackhouse Poland is the company's commitment to providing individual solutions to individual clients. James Agnew, Director and Head of Private Clients, explains further:
“Stackhouse Poland has achieved its current level of success by listening to, and working in partnership with, its clients - we communicate effectively at all levels and always act with total integrity. Unlike the majority of the larger, corporate insurance providers, we take a long term view: we attract clients that appreciate the level of personal service we can offer them, and then keep them over the long term by continually impressing them with the way we service their needs.”
With such a niche approach to providing insurance, you could be forgiven for thinking that the extra attention to detail and improved service would come at a high price. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. Marketing Director, Keith Hester, takes up the story:
“Forming good relationships is one of the most important areas of our business - we aren't just focussed on making the maximum amount of money out of every single transaction. This point is illustrated by one of our clients who was paying a £3,000 premium for £200,000 of contents cover. By taking the time to ask the right questions, we were able to split the policy into £100,000 worth of general items cover and £100,000 worth of fine art cover. By doing this, we reduced the premium to £1,250.”
For private clients in the Guildford area, members of the Stackhouse Poland team will be happy to provide its home visit service, where individual items can be valued before a bespoke policy is tailored.
Jeremy Cary concludes, “We don't offer our clients an off the shelf solution to their insurance needs - we tailor each policy accordingly instead. This ensures that none of our clients in the private, corporate or charity sectors, will be caught out by exemption clauses and any other hidden dangers buried in small print. We have a truly client centric approach, offering individual solutions to individual needs”.
